Description The issue exists due to insufficient input validation in the CRM User Management Framework component of Oracle Common Applications in Oracle E-Business Suite. This allows a remote attacker to gain unauthorized access to protected information or modify, add, or delete data using the HTTP protocol. Successful attacks require human interaction and can significantly impact additional products, resulting in unauthorized access to critical data or complete access to all accessible data, as well as unauthorized update, insert, or delete access to some accessible data.

Recommendations For versions 12.1.1 through 12.1.3, update to a version outside of this range to mitigate the risk. For versions 12.2.3 through 12.2.10, update to a version outside of this range to mitigate the risk. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the CRM User Management Framework component until a patch is available. Restrict access to sensitive data and implement additional security measures to minimize the risk of exploitation.
