Description The issue is related to insufficient input validation in the Tools and Frameworks component of Oracle Commerce Guided Search and Oracle Commerce Experience Manager. This allows a low-privileged attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise the system. Successful attacks require human interaction from a person other than the attacker and may significantly impact additional products. The exploitation can result in unauthorized update, insert, or delete access to some data, as well as unauthorized read access to a subset of data.

Recommendations For version 11.3.1.5, consider restricting access to the vulnerable component until a patch is available. As a temporary workaround, limit the use of HTTP network access to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
