Description The issue is related to insufficient input validation in the UI and Visualization component of Oracle Hyperion BI+, allowing an unauthenticated attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise the system. Successful attacks require human interaction from a person other than the attacker and can result in unauthorized read access to a subset of Oracle Hyperion BI+ accessible data.

Recommendations For versions 11.1.2.4 and 11.2.5.0, consider restricting access to the UI and Visualization component until a fix is available. As a temporary workaround, restrict the use of HTTP protocol to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the vulnerable component for sensitive operations until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
