CVE-2021-37130
CVSS v2.0
7.8
High
| Vector | AV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:C/I:N/A:N |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Huawei FusionCube version 6.0.2
Description
The issue is related to a path traversal vulnerability. It occurs because the software uses external input to construct a pathname intended to identify a directory under a restricted parent directory, but it does not properly validate the pathname. This could allow a remote attacker to access a location outside of the restricted directory by using a crafted filename.
Recommendations
For Huawei FusionCube version 6.0.2, consider restricting access to directories that are intended to be restricted until a patch is available. As a temporary workaround, avoid using external input to construct pathnames without proper validation.
Fix
Path traversal
