Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Adobe ColdFusion versions Update 14 (and earlier) and Update 4 (and earlier)
Description
The issue is related to the use of hard-coded credentials in Adobe ColdFusion, which could result in application denial-of-service by gaining access to start/stop arbitrary services. Exploitation of this issue does not require user interaction.
Recommendations
For Adobe ColdFusion versions Update 14 (and earlier) and Update 4 (and earlier), consider disabling the affected Admin Component as a temporary workaround until a patch is available. Restrict access to arbitrary services to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
