CVE-2021-46666

CVSS v3.1

5.5

Medium

VectorAV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions MariaDB versions prior to 10.6.2
Description The issue is related to the mishandling of a pushdown from a HAVING clause to a WHERE clause, which can cause an application crash. This can be exploited by an attacker to disrupt service.
Recommendations For versions prior to 10.6.2, update to version 10.6.2 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting the use of HAVING and WHERE clauses in queries until a patch is applied.
