Description
The issue is related to an unbalanced device enable/disable in suspend/resume, caused by the removal of
pci enable device mem() from ixgbe resume() in commit 6f82b2558735. This removal led to an unbalanced increase/decrease of dev->enable cnt. The problem can be fixed by adding pci enable device mem() back. The vulnerability may allow an attacker to cause a denial of service.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
