CVE-2021-47215

CVSS v2.0

6.8

Medium

VectorAV:L/AC:L/Au:S/C:C/I:C/A:C
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description The issue is related to the net/mlx5e component of the Linux kernel, specifically with the kTLS feature. It involves a crash in the RX resync flow, which is caused by list corruptions. The corruption occurs when the resync handle seq match() function moves entries in the list of TLS contexts that require attention, before their resync handling in napi is fully completed. This can be exploited to potentially execute arbitrary code.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
