Description A vulnerability exists in the file upload functionality of DownloadFileServlet, allowing an unauthenticated attacker to upload files to any location on the target operating system with root privileges. This issue is related to arbitrary file upload and directory traversal.
Recommendations For Draytek VigorConnect version 1.6.0-B3, consider disabling the file upload functionality of DownloadFileServlet until a patch is available to prevent exploitation. Restrict access to the DownloadFileServlet to minimize the risk of uploading malicious files. Avoid using the file upload feature in the affected version until the issue is resolved.
