Description
The issue is related to the mac80211 component of the Linux kernel, which is associated with improper input validation in the
ieee802 11 parse elems crc() function. This can allow an attacker to cause a denial of service. Before attempting to parse an extended element, the extended element ID must be verified as present.Recommendations
