Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description
The issue is related to a NULL pointer dereference in the Linux kernel's gve component. When freeing notification blocks, the kernel indexes
priv->msix vectors. If the allocation of priv->msix vectors fails, this could lead to a NULL pointer dereference when the driver is unloaded, potentially causing a denial of service.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
