| Vector | AV:L/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:U/C:H/I:N/A:H |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
LibreSSL versions 2.9.1 through 3.2.1
Description
The issue is a heap-based buffer over-read in the
do print ex function, which is called from asn1 item print ctx and ASN1 item print.Recommendations
For LibreSSL versions 2.9.1 through 3.2.1, consider disabling the
do print ex function as a temporary workaround until a patch is available. Restrict access to the asn1 item print ctx and ASN1 item print functions to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.Exploit
