CVE-2021-39805

CVSS v3.1

6.5

Medium

VectorAV:A/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:N/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Android versions Android-12 through Android-12L
Description The issue is related to a possible out of bounds read in the l2cble process sig cmd function of l2c ble.cc due to a missing bounds check. This could lead to remote information disclosure through Bluetooth with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation.
Recommendations For Android versions Android-12 through Android-12L, consider restricting Bluetooth connectivity until a patch is available to prevent potential remote information disclosure. As a temporary workaround, disabling Bluetooth when not in use may minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
