Description
The issue concerns Linux distributions that use CAP SYS NICE for gnome-shell, potentially exposing them to a privilege escalation problem. An attacker with low privilege permissions can exploit the current implementation of CAP SYS NICE to load code, increase its process scheduler priority, and possibly cause a denial of service (DoS) for other services running on the same machine.
