CVE-2021-4074

CVSS v3.1

6.4

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions WHMCS Bridge WordPress plugin versions up to and including 6.1
Description The issue allows attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts via the cc whmcs bridge url parameter in the ~/whmcs-bridge/bridge cp.php file. This is due to missing authorization checks on the cc whmcs bridge add admin function, enabling low-level authenticated users, such as subscribers, to exploit this issue.
Recommendations For versions up to and including 6.1, update to a version that includes a fix for this issue to prevent exploitation. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the cc whmcs bridge add admin function and the cc whmcs bridge url parameter to minimize the risk of exploitation.
