Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
yetiforce/yetiforce-crm versions prior to 6.3.0
Description
The issue is related to Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) that can lead to privilege escalation. This allows an attacker to create a new admin account, even with SameSite: Strict enabled. The vulnerability can be exploited by any user on the system, including guest users.
Recommendations
For versions prior to 6.3.0, update to version 6.3.0 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to sensitive features that could be exploited through CSRF attacks until the update is applied.
