VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Essential Addons for Elementor WordPress plugin versions prior to 5.0.5
Description The issue concerns a lack of validation and sanitization of certain template data in include statements. This could allow unauthenticated attackers to perform a Local File Inclusion attack, enabling them to read arbitrary files on the server. It may also lead to Remote Code Execution (RCE) via user-uploaded files or other Local File Inclusion to RCE techniques.
Recommendations For versions prior to 5.0.5, update to version 5.0.5 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to user-uploaded files and sensitive server files to minimize the risk of exploitation.
