CVE-2022-0327

CVSS v3.1

6.1

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions The Master Addons for Elementor WordPress plugin versions prior to 1.8.5
Description The issue arises from the lack of sanitization and escaping of the error message parameter in the response of the "jltma restrict content" AJAX action. This action is accessible to both unauthenticated and authenticated users, leading to a Reflected Cross-Site Scripting issue.
Recommendations For versions prior to 1.8.5, update to version 1.8.5 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the "jltma restrict content" AJAX action to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the error message parameter in the affected AJAX endpoint until the issue is resolved.
