Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
microweber/microweber versions prior to 1.2.11
Description
The issue is related to a stored Cross-site Scripting (XSS) flaw. This type of flaw allows an attacker to inject malicious scripts into a website, which are then executed by users' browsers. The checkout page is specifically mentioned as being vulnerable, with the last name field allowing the execution of arbitrary JavaScript code.
Recommendations
For versions prior to 1.2.11, update to version 1.2.11 or later to resolve the issue.
As a temporary workaround, consider restricting user input in the last name field on the checkout page to minimize the risk of exploitation.
