VectorAV:N/AC:H/PR:H/UI:R/S:U/C:L/I:H/A:L
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions microweber/microweber versions prior to 1.2.12
Description The issue allows a user to create an account with a long password, leading to memory corruption and integer overflow. This occurs when a password with thousands of characters is used. A maximum password length of 500 characters was set in version 1.2.2, but the issue persists in versions prior to 1.2.12.
Recommendations For versions prior to 1.2.12, update to version 1.2.12 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting the password length to 500 characters or less to minimize the risk of exploitation.
