CVSS v3.1
4.8
Medium
| Vector | AV:N/AC:L/PR:H/UI:R/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
amr users WordPress plugin versions prior to 4.59.4
Description
The issue allows high privilege users, such as admins, to perform Stored Cross-Site Scripting attacks. This is possible because some settings are not properly sanitised and escaped, even when the unfiltered html capability is disallowed.
Recommendations
For versions prior to 4.59.4, update to version 4.59.4 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting the ability of high privilege users to modify settings that could be used for Stored Cross-Site Scripting attacks.
