Description
A vulnerability exists when navigating from inside an iframe while requesting fullscreen access. This could allow an attacker-controlled tab to prevent the browser from leaving fullscreen mode. The issue is related to incorrect restriction of visualizable layers or UI frames due to an error when navigating inside an iframe during a request for fullscreen access. This could enable a remote attacker to conduct a spoofing attack by preventing the browser from exiting fullscreen mode.
Recommendations
For Firefox ESR versions prior to 91.5, update to version 91.5 or later.
For Firefox versions prior to 96, update to version 96 or later.
For Thunderbird versions prior to 91.5, update to version 91.5 or later.
