CVE-2022-1558

CVSS v3.1

4.8

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:H/UI:R/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions The Curtain WordPress plugin versions 1.0.0 through 1.0.2
Description The issue is related to the lack of sanitization and escaping of some settings in the plugin, which could allow high privilege users, such as admins, to perform Stored Cross-Site Scripting attacks when the unfiltered html capability is disallowed.
Recommendations For versions 1.0.0 through 1.0.2, update to a version that addresses this issue, as the current version does not properly sanitize and escape its settings, posing a risk of Stored Cross-Site Scripting attacks. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
