| Vector | AV:N/AC:L/PR:H/UI:R/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Quotes llama WordPress plugin versions prior to 1.0.0
Description
The issue allows high privilege users, such as admins, to perform Cross-Site Scripting attacks even when unfiltered html is disallowed. This can be achieved by exploiting the lack of sanitization and escaping of quotes. Additionally, the attack can be performed by tricking an admin into importing a malicious CSV file.
Recommendations
For versions prior to 1.0.0, update to version 1.0.0 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting the import of CSV files and limiting the ability of high privilege users to input unsanitized data until a patch is applied.
