CVE-2022-1626

CVSS v3.1

5.4

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:R/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Sharebar WordPress plugin versions 1.4.1 and earlier
Description The issue is related to the lack of a CSRF check when updating settings, which could allow attackers to make a logged-in admin change them via a CSRF attack. This also leads to a Stored Cross-Site Scripting issue due to the lack of sanitization and escaping in some settings.
Recommendations For Sharebar WordPress plugin versions 1.4.1 and earlier, consider disabling the settings update functionality until a patch is available to prevent potential CSRF attacks. Restrict access to the plugin's settings to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
