6.5

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:U/C:N/I:H/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Useful Banner Manager WordPress plugin versions 1.6.1 and earlier
Description The issue allows an attacker to trick a logged-in admin into adding, modifying, or deleting banners from the plugin by submitting a form, due to the lack of CSRF checks on POST requests to its admin page.
Recommendations For versions 1.6.1 and earlier, as a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the admin page until a patch is available. Avoid using the plugin's admin functionality until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
