CVE-2022-1822

CVSS v3.1

6.1

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Zephyr Project Manager plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 3.2.40
Description The issue arises from insufficient input sanitization and output escaping, making it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages via the project parameter. This can be exploited if an attacker can trick a user into performing an action such as clicking on a link, allowing the execution of injected scripts.
Recommendations For versions up to, and including, 3.2.40, update to a version higher than 3.2.40 to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the project parameter to minimize the risk of exploitation.
