Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Download Manager Plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including 3.2.42
Description
The issue is related to reflected Cross-Site Scripting due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on the
frameid parameter found in the ~/src/Package/views/shortcode-iframe.php file.Recommendations
For versions up to, and including 3.2.42, consider disabling the
frameid parameter in the ~/src/Package/views/shortcode-iframe.php file as a temporary workaround until a patch is available. Restrict access to the ~/src/Package/views/shortcode-iframe.php file to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the frameid parameter in the affected endpoint until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.Exploit
