Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Android versions Android-13
Description
The issue is related to a missing permission check in Settings, which could lead to local information disclosure of applications allowed to use the network during VPN lockdown mode. No additional execution privileges are needed, and user interaction is not required for exploitation.
Recommendations
For Android version Android-13, consider restricting access to the Settings application to minimize the risk of exploitation until a patch is available.
As a temporary workaround, restrict the use of VPN lockdown mode to prevent potential information disclosure.
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
