Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Android versions Android-13
Description
The issue is related to a logic error in the code of WifiDialogActivity.java, which could lead to a limited lockscreen bypass. This might result in local escalation of privilege in wifi settings without requiring additional execution privileges. User interaction is not necessary for exploitation.
Recommendations
For Android version Android-13, consider restricting access to wifi settings until a patch is available to prevent potential local escalation of privilege. As a temporary workaround, limiting the functionality related to WifiDialogActivity.java may help minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
