Description The issue concerns a stored XSS vulnerability in Convos, an open-source multi-user chat application. It occurs because characters starting with "https://" in the chat window create an tag, and there is a lack of escaping for double quotes, although escaping exists for "<" or ">". This allows an attacker to execute malicious scripts using onfocus and autofocus.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
