4.3

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:L/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions IBM Sterling External Authentication Server versions 3.4.3.2, 6.0.2.0, and 6.0.3.0
Description The issue is related to path traversals due to improper validation of REST API configuration data. An authorized user could import invalid data, which could be used for an attack.
Recommendations For versions 3.4.3.2, 6.0.2.0, and 6.0.3.0, consider restricting access to the REST API configuration data to minimize the risk of exploitation. As a temporary workaround, consider disabling the import functionality for REST API configuration data until a patch is available.
