Description
The vulnerability is related to errors in the Content Security Policy (CSP) settings of the Mozilla Firefox browser and Mozilla Thunderbird email client. It allows a remote attacker to bypass existing security restrictions by exploiting the incorrect enforcement of the frame-ancestors directive in web-accessible extension pages. This could potentially enable unauthorized actions.
Recommendations
For Firefox versions prior to 97, update to version 97 or later to resolve the issue.
For Thunderbird versions prior to 91.6, update to version 91.6 or later to resolve the issue.
For Firefox ESR versions prior to 91.6, update to version 91.6 or later to resolve the issue.
