Description
The issue is a Stored Cross-Site Scripting vulnerability that can be exploited by a high privileged network attacker, leading to the storage of malicious HTML or JavaScript codes in a trusted application data store. When a victim user accesses the data store through their browser, the malicious code gets executed by the web browser in the context of the vulnerable web application. This may lead to information disclosure, session theft, or client-side request forgery.
Recommendations
For versions prior to v2.1.1.0, update to version v2.1.1.0 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the vulnerable web application to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the vulnerable application until the issue is resolved.
