Description The issue is related to an inappropriate implementation in Compositing, allowing a remote attacker to spoof the contents of the Omnibox (URL bar) via a crafted HTML page. This could potentially lead to unauthorized access to protected information.
Recommendations For Google Chrome versions prior to 97.0.4692.71, update to version 97.0.4692.71 or later to resolve the issue. For Microsoft Edge, at the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
