10

Critical

VectorAV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:C/I:C/A:C
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions ALLMediaServer version 1.6
Description The issue is related to a stack-based buffer overflow in Mediaserver.exe, allowing remote attackers to execute arbitrary code by sending a long string to TCP port 888.
Recommendations For ALLMediaServer version 1.6, consider restricting access to TCP port 888 until a patch is available. As a temporary workaround, avoid using Mediaserver.exe to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this issue.
