Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Countdown & Clock (WordPress plugin) versions through 2.3.2
Description The issue is related to Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation, also known as Cross-site Scripting (XSS). This allows for Stored XSS attacks. The vulnerability can be exploited through the &ycd-circle-countdown-before-countdown and &ycd-circle-countdown-after-countdown parameters. The issue affects authenticated users with admin+ privileges.
Recommendations For versions through 2.3.2, update to a version later than 2.3.2 to resolve the issue.
