Description An Improper Authorization issue exists in the Workplace X WebUI of the Hitachi Energy MicroSCADA X SYS600, allowing an authenticated user to execute any MicroSCADA internal scripts irrespective of the authenticated user's role.

Recommendations For Hitachi Energy MicroSCADA X SYS600 versions 10 through 10.3.1, consider restricting access to the Workplace X WebUI to minimize the risk of exploitation until a patch is available. As a temporary workaround, limit the execution of MicroSCADA internal scripts to authorized users only. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
