Description A stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability exists in the BlynkConsole.h runCommand functionality. This issue can be triggered by a specially-crafted network request, potentially leading to command execution. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability by sending a malicious network request.
Recommendations For Blynk -Library version 1.0.1, consider disabling the runCommand functionality in BlynkConsole.h as a temporary workaround until a patch is available. Restrict access to the vulnerable functionality to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the vulnerable runCommand function until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
