| Vector | AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
TigerGraph version 3.6.0
Description
The User-Defined Functions (UDF) feature in TigerGraph allows installation of a query (in the GSQL query language) without proper validation. Consequently, an attacker can execute arbitrary C++ code. The vendor's position is that GSQL was behaving as expected.
Recommendations
For TigerGraph version 3.6.0, consider disabling the User-Defined Functions (UDF) feature until a patch or proper validation mechanism is implemented to prevent arbitrary C++ code execution.
Fix
RCE
