Description A Stored Cross Site Scripting (XSS) issue allows an attacker to execute HTML or JavaScript code via the Username field when an Admin (or non-Admin users that can see other users logged into the platform) clicks on Logout.

Recommendations For ZoneMinder version 1.36.12, as a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the Logout functionality until a patch is available. Additionally, restrict the use of the Username field to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
