Description
The issue results in a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability. This occurs because the name and description of Random String parameters are not escaped on views displaying parameters. Attackers with Item/Configure permission can exploit this vulnerability.
Recommendations
For Jenkins Random String Parameter Plugin versions 1.0 and earlier, update to a version that escapes the name and description of Random String parameters to prevent stored cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks.
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
