VectorAV:L/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:L
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions KnoxCustomManagerService versions prior to SMR Jul-2022 Release 1
Description The issue is related to an improper access control vulnerability. It allows an attacker to call the PowerManaer.goToSleep method, which is protected by system permission, by sending a broadcast intent.
Recommendations For versions prior to SMR Jul-2022 Release 1, consider restricting access to the PowerManaer.goToSleep method until a patch is available. As a temporary workaround, avoid using the broadcast intent that exploits this vulnerability. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
