CVSS v3.1

9.9

Critical

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:C/C:H/I:H/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Oracle Communications Billing and Revenue Management versions 12.0.0.3 through 12.0.0.4
Description The issue exists due to insufficient input validation in the Connection Manager component of Oracle Communications Billing and Revenue Management. This allows a remote attacker to compromise the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of protected information via HTTP requests. Successful attacks can result in the takeover of Oracle Communications Billing and Revenue Management and may significantly impact additional products.
Recommendations For versions 12.0.0.3 and 12.0.0.4, consider restricting access to the Connection Manager component until a patch is available. As a temporary workaround, limit network access via HTTP to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the vulnerable component for critical operations until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
