CVSS v3.1

4.3

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:L/I:N/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions XebiaLabs XL Release Plugin versions 22.0.0 and earlier
Description A missing permission check in the XebiaLabs XL Release Plugin allows attackers with Overall/Read permission to enumerate credentials IDs of credentials stored in Jenkins. This can be used as part of an attack to capture the credentials using another vulnerability. The issue is related to several HTTP endpoints not performing permission checks.
Recommendations For XebiaLabs XL Release Plugin versions 22.0.0 and earlier, consider restricting access to the plugin until a patch is available. As a temporary workaround, restrict the Overall/Read permission to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the affected HTTP endpoints until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
