Description
The issue is caused by an out-of-bounds read operation in memory. Exploitation of this issue could allow a remote attacker to disclose sensitive information. An attacker could leverage this vulnerability to bypass mitigations such as Address Space Layout Randomization (ASLR). Exploitation requires user interaction, where a victim must open a malicious file.
Recommendations
For Adobe Photoshop versions 23.1.1 and earlier, update to a version later than 23.1.1 to resolve the issue.
For Adobe Photoshop versions 22.5.5 and earlier, update to a version later than 22.5.5 to resolve the issue.
As a temporary workaround, consider avoiding the opening of files from untrusted sources to minimize the risk of exploitation.
