VectorAV:L/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:U/C:H/I:N/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Adobe Illustrator versions 25.4.3 and earlier Adobe Illustrator versions 26.0.2 and earlier
Description The issue is caused by an out-of-bounds read operation in memory, which could allow an attacker to gain unauthorized access to protected information using a specially crafted PDF file. This vulnerability could lead to disclosure of sensitive memory and potentially allow an attacker to bypass mitigations such as Address Space Layout Randomization (ASLR). Exploitation requires user interaction, where a victim must open a malicious file.
Recommendations For Adobe Illustrator versions 25.4.3 and earlier, update to a version later than 25.4.3 to resolve the issue. For Adobe Illustrator versions 26.0.2 and earlier, update to a version later than 26.0.2 to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider avoiding the use of PDF files from untrusted sources until a patch is available.
