Description
The issue is related to an out-of-bounds read vulnerability in memory, which could allow a remote attacker to elevate privileges and gain unauthorized access to protected information. This vulnerability may lead to the disclosure of sensitive memory. An attacker could leverage this issue to bypass certain mitigations, such as Address Space Layout Randomization (ASLR). Exploitation requires user interaction, specifically opening a malicious file.
Recommendations
For Adobe Premiere Rush versions 2.0 and earlier, update to a version later than 2.0 to resolve the issue.
As a temporary workaround, consider avoiding the opening of suspicious or untrusted files in Adobe Premiere Rush until a patch is available.
