VectorAV:L/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:U/C:H/I:N/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Adobe Illustrator versions 25.4.2 and earlier Adobe Illustrator versions 26.0.1 and earlier
Description The issue is related to an out-of-bounds read vulnerability in Adobe Illustrator, which could lead to the disclosure of sensitive memory. This vulnerability can be exploited by an attacker to bypass mitigations such as ASLR. Exploitation requires user interaction, where a victim must open a malicious file, potentially a specially crafted PDF file.
Recommendations For Adobe Illustrator versions 25.4.2 and earlier, update to a version later than 25.4.2 to resolve the issue. For Adobe Illustrator versions 26.0.1 and earlier, update to a version later than 26.0.1 to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider avoiding the use of TIF file parsing functionality until a patch is available.
