Description The issue exists due to insufficient input validation in the MySQL Server component. This allows a remote attacker to compromise the server, potentially causing a hang or crash, as well as unauthorized access to update, insert, or delete data. Successful attacks can result in a complete denial of service (DOS) of the MySQL Server.
Recommendations For versions 8.0.28 and prior, update to a version that includes the fix for this issue. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
